Welcome to the Provider Contractor app. Provider Connections (Pty) Ltd saw the need for improving

connections and the method of connecting the private sector with the informal sector. Not only to

connect specific service providers to potential clients but also to facilitate the agreement in terms of

time keeping and payment etc.

With this app, as a contractor, you are in control. List your abilities and skills, update your geographic

work area and availability and you are set.

Let’s work through an example:

“Alex” lives in Klapmuts and works in town as a gardener.

Meanwhile “Aunti Agnes” who was just in the nursery, is going home to struggle with her planting

work alone. “Aunti Agnes” has heard so many bad stories and does not trust strangers next to the

road. Now she has back ache and is behind on her baking work.

With the Provider Contractor App. “Alex” downloaded and registered on the app, he updated his

work area, work type, availability and his hourly rate.

“Aunti Agnes” has seen adds about the Provider App and she likes that she can view the Providers

and their ratings before she decides who to use, so she has downloaded the Provider user app. She

also registered and uploaded her payment details.

Next time “Aunti Agnes” needs help she can use the app and select when she needs someone to

help in the Garden.

Provider connections will instantly check, who is in the selected work area, then who matches the

work skill needed, and lastly whether that person is available for the selected time and date.

“Alex” who is now saving his Taxi fee because he stays at home, is waiting for a request. If his listing

matches that of “Aunti Agnes” he will get notified. He can then view the request and accept or

decline. He also gets to see what the work is and how the client has been rated by other contractors.

If “Alex” accepts the job, he will get directions to the site and the client will get notified of his

progress. “Alex” who is the contractor does not need to worry about payment as the app will take

care of that. The app. will log his arrival time and his work duration. It will then send notify both the

Client and the Provider how much the total is. The app will debit “Aunti Agnes” bank card and “Alex”

will get paid into his bank account within 7days.

What if “Alex” has no bank account? That’s no problem, Provider can make payments using E-wallet

or similar services.

What’s more, is that a record is kept of all services provided between what parties and when.

It is important to remember that contractors or service providers on the Provider Contractor app

are independent contractors and are not looking for employment. This service is for the

entrepreneur at heart.

Provider Contractor app handles most work per hour with a minimum of one hour and you work as

an independent contractor. If you are a tradesman like a painter, you have the option to price work

per unit, for example per square meter. The choice is yours.

With the this, you work when you want and for who you want. When you have

been selected to quote on a task, you can view your potential client’s profile. Here you get to see

what comments other contractors have said about the potential client. Maybe someone on provider

had a bad experience with rude or difficult clients, then this is where you would see that. Don’t like

what you see? No problem! Just decline.
